Executive
Director
The Rev. Dr. Christian Boyd
is the primary spiritual life coach and consultant, and founder
of the Celtic Hound Ministires. Christian's primary
areas of expertise are in organizational development, structure
evaluation, and strategic planning processes. He also does
regular sessions of spiritual life coaching for
individuals and for organizations (religious as well as
secular).
Christian is an ordained Presbyterian Minister of Word &
Sacrament, experienced pastor, spiritual director, and a
Benedictine oblate, ministering as a servant leader in Christ’s
Church for over 10 years. Christian is also a member of
Organizational Development Network, United
States Distance Learning Association, Spiritual
Directors International, Society for Church Consulting, and the
American Society of Missiology. He has worked as a designated
pastor with congregations in transformation, conflict or in a
healing process, as well as a new church development pastor and
as a judicatory officer.
Christian grew up in southern Missouri and is a graduate of
Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. He earned a Master of
Divinity from Louisville Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from
Luther Seminary (St Paul, MN), specializing in Congregational
Mission and Leadership with an emphasis in organizational
development.

Educational Ministries
The Rev. Michael McCormack
is an ordained Minister of Word & Sacrament in the Presbyterian
Church (U.S.A.). Michael received a B.A. at Tusculum College in
Greeneville, Tennessee where he got his first tastes of
ministry: as a youth advisor in Rogersville and then as a camp
counselor at the John Knox Center outside Knoxville. He
attended Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary where he
received a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees.
“As I consider my journey of faith so far, there were many times
I thought of was doing something. ‘I’m all about this. I’m
doing that!’ Now with the hindsight that reflection allows, I
can see what God was doing, the lessons I was really learning.
I am humbled and filled with gratitude.” Michael has served as
a youth pastor in Bowling Green, Kentucky and currently pastors
First Church in Kirksville, Missouri. He is a Doctor of
Ministry candidate at Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas
City where his thesis will encircle the topics of Eucharist and
feeding the hungry. He is married to Elizabeth West McCormack,
a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and has two wonderful
boys, Noah and Liam. Michael has been in Spiritual Direction
for over three years.

Ms.
Kathy Brady-Murfin was
born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and is currently the
Director of Religious Education at a large Roman Catholic parish
in the Archdiocese of Chicago. She teaches Scripture and Creed
classes for the Office of On-Going Formation at St. Mary of the
Lake Seminary and for the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of
Catechesis and Youth Formation. Kathy completed the Lay Ministry
Formation program in the Rockford diocese, earned a B.A. in
Religious Education from DePaul University, and an M.A. in
Pastoral Studies from Loyola. Kathy is also an active spiritual
director, and co-writes and leads spiritual retreats with the
Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary. |
